Vote for your favourite street name for our Owlcotes Road development

We're building 54 new family homes for shared ownership and affordable rent at Owlcotes Road, Pudsey(External link). The project is now in the construction phase and we're starting to lay the foundations for the first new homes.

Along with new homes, we're also creating new roads, and we'd like your help to name them.

We're proposing a bird theme for the new street names in keeping with the ‘Owlcotes’ name, the local landscape and Yorkshire wildlife. Suggestions include: Tawny Drive, Kestrel Row, Barn Owl Lane, Sparrow Fields, Hawk Avenue, Owlcotes Mews, Owlcotes Meadows, Red Kite Avenue, Kite Avenue.

To choose your favourite street name from the list, fill in this poll by 27 August 2026. If you have a few favourites, you can choose more than one option.

We'll send the most popular choices to Leeds City Council, who'll review them. Once we hear back from the Council, we'll share the final choices on the Owlcotes Road page.
