Your Neighbourhood Plan Review - 2026

We have been working to deliver your first Neighbourhood Plan and it is now drawing to a close. We wanted to let you know what actions we have taken in response to your feedback and how we have shaped our services locally. One of the outcomes of the first plan is that it would be of benefit to combine it with other plan areas so that we can have more impact.

We are combining the Kippax, Garforth and Micklefield areas together this time, and this area will be known as Kippax, Garforth and Micklefield. Sherburn in Elmet will move to a different plan area, combined with Church Fenton. Residents from Sherburn in Elmet will be contacted separately about their new plan.
