Kirklees Council’s Growing Great Places community crowdfunding programme, delivered in partnership with Spacehive, is back for its Autumn 2026 Round – and they want to hear from communities across Kirklees.

Growing Great Places helps local people turn great ideas into action. They can support community groups, charities, social enterprises and local residents through the crowdfunding process – from developing your idea and planning your project to raising funds and making it happen.

NEW THIS ROUND – £45,000 Public Health Funding Pot

There is £45,000 of new funding available for projects that will make a positive impact on people’s health and wellbeing. So, if you have an idea that could help create healthier, happier and more connected communities, this could be an opportunity to turn your idea into reality and seek a pledge of up to £5k.

Growing Great Places is holding an online workshop on 15 September from 12:30pm–1:30pm, where you can find out how Growing Great Places works, get practical tips and ask questions about applying.
