May 2026 Update for Kirklees

Welcome to your monthly update for Kirklees.

Here's what’s been happening and what’s coming up

We visited the area this month and found most areas were in good condition with no concerns. In Birkenshaw we have identified an area with a steep step and it has been agreed that railings will be fitted.

We’ll be in your area again on 25th and 26th June – all residents are welcome to join the area visit. We’ll be walking around the area, checking for repairs, health and safety issues and neighbourhood management issues. We want to hear from you, so please join us if you can.
