May 2026 Update for Wakefield and District

Welcome to your monthly update for Wakefield and District.

Here's what’s been happening and what’s coming up

We visited Crofton, Mirfield and Wrenthorpe and Beckett Close last month and found there to be no particular issues in these areas.

On Carnforth Avenue we found fly tipped waste and have arranged to have this cleared. We are aware of a large waste bin missing from Hastings Grove and we have requested a replacement from the council.

We’ll be in areas across the district again in June – all residents are welcome to join the area visit. We’ll be checking for repairs, health and safety issues and neighbourhood management issues.
