Be part of creating your Neighbourhood Plan for Beeston Hill

We’d like to work with you to create a Neighbourhood Plan for your area.

November 2024 Update

Thankyou to all who attended the drop-in sessions. The survey will continue to be open for you to have your say about your neighbourhood!

What is a Neighbourhood Plan?

A Neighbourhood Plan sets out our commitment to you and your community. We want to help build a strong community with you, your neighbours, local businesses, local charities and so many more.

No-one knows your neighbourhood better than you and your neighbours, so to work out how the plan might look, we want to be guided by you.

A Neighbourhood Plan isn’t about “fixing problems”, it's about having a common goal of building a strong community. However, we will try our best to make your neighbourhood the best it can be for you and your community.

We want to know what's important to you and what you'd like to see in your community. We also want to hear what works well; is there someone in your community doing wonderful things for others that should be celebrated? Do you have an idea for your community, such as setting up a group activity that you’d like to arrange but need funding or resources to set it up? We can’t promise we can help with everything but let’s start the conversation.

Take part in the Survey

We'd love to hear from you and begin to get an understanding of how you feel about your neighbourhood.

Have your say now by taking part in the survey - this should only take a couple minutes to complete. Your answers will only be visible to Leeds Federated staff, and we'd really welcome your honest feedback.

Click the link to the survey at the bottom of this page to get started!

What's Next?

We will be having drop-in sessions on Thursday 26th September at Maltings Court (11am-1pm) and Cleveleys Court (2pm-4pm). This is a chance for you to chat face-to-face with your Neighbourhood Officers Saeed and Margaret and talk about your neighbourhood. You will also have a chance to complete the survey at the drop-ins and have support in doing this. We'd love for you to come along!

Additionally...

We'll also be arranging walkabouts in your community soon and they will appear as 'Key Dates' on the right-hand side of this page.

Stay up to date

If you would like to be kept updated about more opportunities to have your say, please follow this page by clicking the 'subscribe' button on the right-hand side to receive notifications.
