Your neighbourhood plan for Lincoln Green, Burmantofts & Ebor Gardens
Skip Day
Those of you residing at Cherry Place and Lincoln Green Court will have received letters from me making you aware of the skip/clearance day for unwanted items. This is scheduled for Thursday the 9th of April, the time stated was between 11:00 and 13:00. This could potentially change to an earlier time of 09:30-11:30. I will send texts to all on the 7th confirming the time.
Please remember - no sofas/chairs or dining chairs with cushioning. No large electrical items, including large TVs. No tins of paint. If you have rubble or garden waste then it must be bagged up or the rubble not exceeding in large weight, if so, there will be a charge for this.
Can any unwanted items be left neatly and not causing an obstruction to either end of the Court. Sam and I look forward to seeing you on the day.
I will be extending this offer over the coming weeks/months to further of my schemes in the area. Moving forward we want to see clear from clutter and maintained gardens, be part of making this happen for the Community that you live in.

June review
Skip Day for Lincoln Green Court - Update
Apologies this did not go ahead in the summer. We will aim to arrange the skip day and litter pick for the end of October, beginning of November.
We are looking at holding a skip day in July this year. We will be sending out a letter in the next few weeks to confirm the date to customers. We hope to see you there and help throw out unwanted bulky items.
I will be there along with colleagues from across Leeds Fed including your financial inclusion officer and surveyor, so its will be a good opportunity to come out and have a chat.
Litter Pick Day - Ebor Gardens and Burnmantofts
We will be looking to hold litter picking days in September and will be writing out to customers to confirm the date.
We will inviting others from across the organisation and also local partners to attend and join in. All are welcome. We will provide the equipment if you would like to get involved.
Be part of creating your Neighbourhood Plan for Lincoln Green, Burmantofts & Ebor Gardens
We’d like to work with you to create a Neighbourhood Plan for your area.
What is a Neighbourhood Plan?
A Neighbourhood Plan sets out our commitment to you and your community. We want to help build a strong community with you, your neighbours, local businesses, local charities and so many more.
No-one knows your neighbourhood better than you and your neighbours, so to work out how the plan might look, we want to be guided by you.
A Neighbourhood Plan isn’t about “fixing problems”, it's about having a common goal of building a strong community. However, we will try our best to make your neighbourhood the best it can be for you and your community.
We want to know what's important to you and what you'd like to see in your community. We also want to hear what works well; is there someone in your community doing wonderful things for others that should be celebrated? Do you have an idea for your community, such as setting up a group activity that you’d like to arrange but need funding or resources to set it up? We can’t promise we can help with everything but let’s start the conversation.
Take part in the Survey
We'd love to hear from you and begin to get an understanding of how you feel about your neighbourhood.
Have your say now by taking part in the survey - this should only take a couple minutes to complete. Your answers will only be visible to Leeds Federated staff, and we'd really welcome your honest feedback.
Click the link to the survey at the bottom of this page to get started!
What's Next?
We will be door-knocking in your area on Tuesday 8th October between 11.30am-2.30pm to talk with you about the neighbourhood plan. You will also have the chance to complete the survey with us. If you're not available, we'll hand post you the survey and we can arrange to collect it from you at a later date.
