Tree Works
A tree inspection was undertaken on the Stonegates and Stainbeck Avenue earlier in November to assess the trees in your communal areas and in your personal gardens. The tree inspection was carried out by our Community Spaces Manager & Matt Sellars who is a registered, fully qualified Arborist/Tree Surgeon.
Leeds Federated will soon be authorising the recommended tree works to the Stonegates and Stainbeck Avenue. If you have any trees or shrubs in your personal garden that are of sentimental value such as a memorial tree and you do not want this removing, you should contact Tony Horncastle on 01133861028 or 07966885047 to advise of this. This is very important as once a tree is removed it cannot be replanted. Letters will be going out to all tenants on the scheme and the work will be carried out early next year.
We are not levying any charge to tenants for the work carried out on this occasion.
From April 2025 If tree work in personal gardens is required it will be the responsibility of the tenant to maintain the trees in their personal gardens. If we need to carry out essential tree work in any personal garden after 1st April 2025 this work will be rechargeable to the tenant.
Communal trees will be dealt with separately through service charges.
