Your neighbourhood plan for Hyde Park
Be part of creating your Neighbourhood Plan for Hyde Park
We’d like to work with you to create a Neighbourhood Plan for your area.
What is a Neighbourhood Plan?
A Neighbourhood Plan sets out our commitment to you and your community. We want to help build a strong community with you, your neighbours, local businesses, local charities and so many more.
No-one knows your neighbourhood better than you and your neighbours, so to work out how the plan might look, we want to be guided by you.
A Neighbourhood Plan isn’t about “fixing problems”, it's about having a common goal of building a strong community. However, we will try our best to make your neighbourhood the best it can be for you and your community.
We want to know what's important to you and what you'd like to see in your community. We also want to hear what works well; is there someone in your community doing wonderful things for others that should be celebrated? Do you have an idea for your community, such as setting up a group activity that you’d like to arrange but need funding or resources to set it up? We can’t promise we can help with everything but let’s start the conversation.
Take part in the Survey
We'd love to hear from you and begin to get an understanding of how you feel about your neighbourhood.
Have your say now by taking part in the survey - this should only take a couple minutes to complete. Your answers will only be visible to Leeds Federated staff, and we'd really welcome your honest feedback.
Click the link to the survey at the bottom of this page to get started!
What's Next?
We will be in your area on Monday 18th November between 9.30am-2pm - come and say hello!
Thankyou for everyone we spoke to on the 18th during the door-knock. It was great for Leeds Fed staff to get out into the community and talk with customers about their neighbourhood!
We will be arranging another door-knock in Hyde park soon and you will receive a letter and email (if email address has been provided) to let you know.
The survey will remain open and we continue to encourage you to put forward your ideas for your neighbourhood plan. You can also contact your neighbourhood officer if you would like to have a chat about it too.
Additionally...
We are also looking into arranging a drop-in session in your area as a further opportunity to discuss creating this Neighbourhood Plan for your community if there is interest shown to have this. Additionally, we are brainstorming lots of different ways you can get involved and we would appreciate your input on the survey!
