Be part of creating your Neighbourhood Plan for Kirklees

We’d like to work with you to create a Neighbourhood Plan for your area. Its never too late to have your say.

What's Next?

Your neighbourhood plan is now ready to view. If you would like to add anything to this you can email your thoughts and ideas to adele.rowley@lfha.co.uk.

What we have done so far.

Landscaping has been carried out at Maple Garth, all the bark chippings and plants have been removed and replaced with much tidier pebbles and shrubs.

We have also installed a temporary CCTV camera in block A of Maple Garth in an attempt to resolve the issues with the main front doors not locking.

The road surfaces are finally been laid at Cliff Mews and Mount View.

We have been working closely with a charity helping with food poverty called Surplus to Purpose. This amazing charity is on a mission to tackle one of the UK’s biggest challenges: food waste. Every year, 9.5 million tons of perfectly good food is discarded, while countless families and communities face food insecurity. They bridge the gap by rescuing surplus food from businesses and redistributing it. Join them on their mission to reduce waste, feed the world, and make a positive, sustainable impact on our planet. You can shop instore or online, check out this link Online Supermarket | Surplus to Purpose CIC for further details.
