I’m excited to share that our Money Information Sessions are launching this week!
We’re kicking things off at Leeds Mind and will be rolling out sessions across the city in partnership with a range of local organisations.
With the support of Shelter volunteers, these sessions aim to support individuals facing challenges with living costs and work towards preventing homelessness. The sessions will cover money saving tips, guidance on where to access financial support, and offer signposting to relevant services – ensuring attendees can access the broader help they may need.

Whincup plant ,flowers and shrubs consultation
Join Sharon and Charlie from The Gardening Team at 10am in Whincup Community Room for tea, Coffee and Cake!! This is an opportunity to talk about what plants, flowers and shrubs you would like to see planted around your scheme to brighten the place up.
We hope to see you their!!.
Update 12th June 2025:
It was a shame that no one attended to share their thoughts on the type of plants, flowers and shrubs you wanted to see in the communal garden. We intend to hold another consultation in the spring with the opportunity for you to make up some hanging baskets that you can put up outside your homes. I will post closer to the time so watch this space.

Reduced Price Food!!!!
We have been working closely with a charity helping with food poverty called Surplus to Purpose. This amazing charity is on a mission to tackle one of the UK’s biggest challenges: food waste. Every year, 9.5 million tons of perfectly good food is discarded, while countless families and communities face food insecurity. They bridge the gap by rescuing surplus food from businesses and redistributing it. Join them on their mission to reduce waste, feed the world, and make a positive, sustainable impact on our planet. You can shop instore or online, check out this link Online Supermarket | Surplus to Purpose CIC(External link) for further details.
