Farnley Community Centre
  • Youth Service: Hosts different sessions for ages 11-12 and 13-17 on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
  • DAZL Dance Group: A dance group meets on Wednesdays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

The Farnley Academy
  • Extra-curricular Clubs:
    The school offers a wide variety of clubs, including sports, a Health & Social Coursework Club, and a Warhammer club.

  • Enrichment Programs:
    Students can participate in different categories of clubs, such as Sports, Creative, and Cultural Capital.

  • Workshops:
    The school has hosted workshops on careers, digital technology, and first aid with partners like Leeds City College.

Some popular options include Bella Italia, TGI Fridays, Morrisons cafes, and Brewers Fayre. SURPLUS TO PURPOSE

Hello, just wanted to share something that might be helpful if things are a bit tight right now. There are some great local initiatives working to make sure good food doesn't go to waste and gets to people who need it.

Basically, they team up with businesses to rescue perfectly good surplus food and then share it with the community. It's a win-win: less waste and more support for families.

If you're finding it hard to put food on the table, it might be worth looking into these kinds of projects in our neighbourhood. They're doing some really important work.
