Welcome to your monthly update for Hunslet.

Here's what’s been happening and what’s coming up

We visited the area this month to check for repairs, health and safety issues and neighbourhood management issues.

There has been significant work carried out on Elmtree Lane to improve the condition of a shared driveway. This work is now complete allowing easier vehicle access.

We are also working with customers to address the storage of items in communal areas. All customers are reminded that communal spaces must be kept clear for health and safety reasons.

We’ll be in your area again in June – all residents are welcome to join the area visit. We want to hear from you, so please join us if you can.

We have been working to deliver your first Neighbourhood Plan and it is now drawing to a close. We wanted to let you know what actions we have taken in response to your feedback and how we have shaped our services locally.

One of the outcomes of the first plan is that it would be of benefit to combine it with other plan areas so that we can have more impact.

We are combining the Hunslet Green and Jacquard Square neighbourhood plan areas together this time, and this area will be known as Hunslet.

We will start asking you for comments on what we can do next shortly. A new survey will be available between 27^th March and 10^th April for you to let us know your current priorities. We’re excited to announce the monthly Housing Hub, right in the heart of Leeds City Centre at the Age UK building – and you’re invited!

We’ll be hosting monthly drop-in sessions on the last Friday of every month. Whether you want to book an appointment or just pop in while you're in town, our friendly staff team will be there to welcome you, with a hot drink, and some activities to enjoy.

All residents are welcome to join us - it's a chance to chat about what's important to you in your area and any issues you might want us to address.
