We visited your area this month and have arranged repair of a hole that has appeared outside one of the gates. We are awaiting further information on the matter relating to the light from the church and noted that a previously identified garden maintenance issue has been resolved.

Home Condition Surveys are set to begin:

Making sure your home is safe and in a good condition is a top priority for us. To help us keep your home up to standard, we carry out a Home Condition Survey every 5 years – this is sometimes known as a Stock Condition Survey. The survey highlights any urgent repairs that you might not be aware of and helps us plan for future improvements in your home, such as a new kitchen or bathroom. Have you heard of the Crisis and Resilience Fund?

It’s a £1 billion annual UK Government scheme running from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029, providing local councils with multi-year funding to help low-income households handle sudden financial emergencies and build long-term financial stability.

You may be eligible for emergency help for essentials like food, fuel, clothing, and household appliances, as well as short-term assistance with housing costs and rent shortfalls.

We visited the area at the end of July and were made aware of a light on a camera at the church which is quite bright. We are considering whether the brightness of the light warrants us discussing other options with the church, as we are aware this may be causing nuisance to residents.

Our gardening competition is back by popular demand!

We loved seeing customers' photos of their gardens last year, so we're bringing the competition back.

Here's what’s been happening and what’s coming up

We visited the area this month and found some areas where gardens need maintaining. We are working with customers directly on this.

After the success of the last time we provided a skip, we are providing an unwanted item removals again.

I understand that not everyone has access to transport their larger items at recycling centres, such as mattresses, garden rubble and electric items, unwanted children's toys. I have managed to source a company that will remove items for you at no cost to yourself.

We want gardens to be tidy and free from clutter; this shows our commitment to helping you achieve this. The collection of items will take place on:

Wednesday 11^th March at 9.30am

If you can have your items ready for collection on this date to bring over to the collection point in the car park. Sam and I will be on hand to support that transportation and help with carrying goods where possible.

Please let me know if you have items for us to collect so we know whose homes to call at my details are at the bottom of this letter.
